The storage by space dashboard provides a clear, visual overview of how your team spaces are using storage within the platform. By using an interactive treemap, you can easily identify which spaces are consuming the most workflow volume storage.
The dashboard features a treemap where each rectangle represents a team space. The size of each rectangle is proportional to the amount of storage that space consumes, helping you quickly spot high-usage areas. You can see the total storage used across all spaces in the center of the display.
Note: This dashboard tracks logical bytes used by workflow volumes, which includes all storage volumes associated with your workflow branches. It is limited to team spaces; personal spaces are excluded.
How to read the treemap
The visualization is designed to be intuitive:
Rectangle size: Indicates the relative amount of storage used. Larger rectangles represent spaces using more storage.
Color coding: Each space is assigned a unique color to help you distinguish between different areas at a glance.
Labels: Space names are displayed on larger rectangles for easy identification.
Interactive features
Drill down for details: Click on any individual space tile to open a modal window that provides a more detailed breakdown of that specific space's storage usage.
Hover for info: Hover your mouse over any tile to see the exact name of the space and its total storage in a human-readable format (such as KB, MB, or GB).
Smart grouping
To keep the dashboard uncluttered, the system automatically aggregates smaller spaces:
Minimum share: A space must use at least 6% of total storage to appear as its own tile.
Maximum tiles: The view is capped at 12 tiles.
"Other" category: Spaces that don't meet the minimum share threshold are grouped into a gray "Other" tile. You can hover over this tile to see a breakdown of the specific spaces included in the group.
Staying up to date
The data on this dashboard is periodically refreshed to ensure accuracy. If you see a message stating "No workflow volume storage yet across your team spaces," it simply means there is currently no data to display for your active spaces.
