For our Tines 3B pricing and packaging, we prioritized simplicity and predictability. Tines 3B follows a platform licence model. A platform license model is a pricing approach where our customers license access to the entire 3B platform rather than buying individual products or features separately. This approach provides a shared foundation, with capabilities, users, or capacity expanding based on the license plan.
Components of a license
There are three components to the Tines 3B platform license model:
Tines 3B environment: These are the individual product components that you create across your 3B edition including workflows, spaces, connectors, skills, or users.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure on which the account is deployed. This differs per plan.
Runtime: Our owned metric (Tines units) combining compute, storage, and transfer. TU allocation differs per plan.
Paid plans:
We offer three distinct plans based on your required infrastructure and scale:

Freemium plan
The Explore plan is our freemium offering, designed for you to experiment and gain familiarity with the Tines 3B platform before committing to a contract.
Infrastructure: Multi-tenant.
Environment: Mirrors paid editions with unlimited access, with the following key limitations:
Live workflows: Limited to 3.
Run-time: 5,000 Tines units per month.
AI: Includes a one-time $50 AI allowance.
Public access: No public website URLs allowed.
Glossary
Tines units (TUs)
Tines units are our runtime metric. They are a combination of compute, storage, and transfer costs. Each paid plan includes a monthly allowance of Tines units. The allowance resets every month and does not roll over.
Overages
An overage is when the account consumes more Tines units than allotted per month. Tines units incurred over plan allowance are charged at an overage rate per month. All new customers get a one month grace period before overages take effect.
AI credits
We use a "Bring-Your-Own-Model" (BYOM) approach. You leverage your existing LLM investments for token consumption, allowing you to focus on the value of your workflows.
Live workflow
A live workflow is defined as any agent, app, or automation that is “pushed to live” in a Tines 3B space (private or shared). Live workflows only matter in our Explore plan where they count towards your license.
Compute
The processing power used to run workloads, such as executing code, workflows, agents, or AI-related tasks.
Storage
The space used to persist data, files, logs, artifacts, results, or other information created or used by the system.
Transfer
Data that leaves a system, cloud environment, or network and is transferred somewhere else.
